It’s back-to-back bumper Saturday’s for Gwent sides in Super Rygbi Cymru with Ebbw Vale, Newport and Pontypool in action with 2:30pm kick-offs.
Following last week’s results, Ebbw Vale sit atop the SRC although it is still early days with plenty to play for.
The Steelmen will be looking to hold on to their Super Rygbi Cymru shield trophy as they host Cardiff RFC to the Ciner Glass Community Stadium.
Dragons back rower Owen Conquer starts again at eight, meanwhile Academy scrum-half Carter Pritchard is on the replacements bench having made his debut last week.
Elsewhere there are five changes as Morgan Richards, Cam Davies, Dorian Jones, Joe Franchi and Lewis Young come in to the starting XV.
Newport make several changes to the side which came away from Aberavon last week with two bonus points including Dai Richards starting at outside centre.
The versatile Richards along with teammate Jac Lloyd were both signed by Dragons over the summer and are two of four Dragons in the 23, with Academy members Jordan Morris and Nathan Davies among the replacements.
Elsewhere, Chay Foster-Smith, Lucus Welch, Tom Devine, Liam Newstead, Josh Reid and Kyle Tayler all start as Newport look for their first win of the season as they host Swansea.
Meanwhile, Pontypool are also looking to bounce back following last weekend’s disappointment at home to RGC.
Pooler travel west to face Carmarthen Quins, once again with a 2:30pm kick off.
This week, Wales Under 20s from this summer, Harri Ford and Ryan Jones join Morgan Lloyd in the starting lineup, meanwhile another who shone this summer, Evan Minto is with fellow Dragons Academy member George Tuckley on the bench.
New signing and former Steeler Carrick McDonough starts from fullback meanwhile there are also starting spots for Ioan Duggan, Scott Matthews, Dragons centurion Joe Davies, Owen Popple and Tom Sims.
