Following back-to-back wins against Ospreys and RGC Dragons U18s take on Scarlets in their final game of the first block of the Academies U18s Championship.
After a disappointing first half against Cardiff, Dragons have bounced back with 11 tries from the two games against Ospreys and RGC to go with the five in the capital.
Meanwhile, some of the U18s have already played Scarlets this term with Dragons U17s defeating Scarlets U17s 78-5 earlier in this block.
Tiaan Hall returns to captain the side having been on the bench last week against RGC and is one of 12 changes in personnel for this weekend’s starting XV.
Haberdashers’ Monmouth’s Brogan Leary and Elliot Beavan of Newport High remain in the starting line-up, although they switch to outside centre and number eight respectively with Hadley Worgan once again at seven.
Sam Morgan of Senghenydd RFC starts with Danny Hutchinson of Cwmbran and Theo McKerrow of Caldicot in the back three with Talywain’s Rylie Prober partnering Leary in the centres.
Caerphilly RFC’s Liam Lawlor partners Jake Jenkins at half-back with the latter having scored three tries so far in the competition.
Up front, Hall is at hooker with Newbridge’s Jayden Llewellyn and Scott Crewe of Pontypool Utd either side with the grunt supplied from second rows Dylan Pennell and Ashton Swain of Coleg y Cymoedd and Coleg Gwent respectively.
The starting line-up sees West Monmouth school’s Jake Leighton joined by Worgan and Beavan in the back row.
