Fly half Tinus de Beer makes his return as Dragons RFC face Stade Francais Paris in the EPCR Challenge Cup in the French capital on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 12.30pm UK time).
Head Coach Filo Tiatia makes three changes to the side that last featured in league action for the knockout stages of European competition in Paris.
De Beer is back in the ten jersey, where he combines with scrum half Niall Armstrong. Co-captain Angus O’Brien moves to full back.
Wing David Richards is also recalled for the game with the Top 14 outfit at Stade Jean Bouin.
The final change to the starting line-up is a call-up for second row Levi Douglas after he missed the clash with Fidelity SecureDrive Lions in Johannesburg last weekend.
Prop Wyn Jones and scrum half Morgan Lloyd return among the replacements.
Tiatia said: “We know it’s going to be tough. Stade Francais are a good side, particularly at home, and when they faced Clermont at the weekend they ran away with a good win.
“They're well coached and I like the way they play with big forwards in the middle. They're very principled in the way they attack, but they have threats right across the back line. We’re looking forward to the challenge.
“We learnt some things during the South Africa tour and there are areas we need to be better at and things we can action,” he added.
“It’s important we capitalise on opportunities and are better around our execution and taking points.”
