Wales international duo Aaron Wainwright and Ben Carter return to the starting line-up as Dragons RFC face Zebre Parma in the BKT United Rugby Championship on Friday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).
Head Coach Filo Tiatia makes 11 changes to the side that was defeated by Vodacom Bulls last week for the Round 16 fixture at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.
Wainwright is back in the Number Eight jersey alongside Thomas Young and Shane Lewis-Hughes in a new-look back row in Italy.
Prop Dillon Lewis also makes his second start of the season in a new front row with Argentine Rodrigo Martinex and Brodie Coghlan also recalled.
Carter is named co-captain in the second row alongside Levi Douglas.
Scrum half Rhodri Williams makes his comeback - paired alongside Tinus de Beer in the half backs – while Angus O’Brien slots back into the 15 jersey.
Aneurin Owen returns in midfield, with Fetuli Paea moving to outside centre against his former club.
Wing David Richards is the final change to the starting side, with Jared Rosser switching flanks.
Prop Owain James returns among the replacements.
Head Coach Tiatia said: “We know the challenge ahead against Zebre, they are a good side, a good mauling team, and they love to use the ball.
“I remember vividly after the (European) game that some of the Zebre staff were looking forward to us coming back.
“They were unlucky not to come away from Edinburgh with a victory away from home last weekend and they are playing well.
“They have threats around the ball, they play fast and have a very good offloading game, as we experienced in the last ten minutes of the quarter final.
“It is going to be a test, like it was in the quarter final, but we are looking forward to it and putting a performance in.”
