Dragons centre Fine Inisi scored an 80th minute try and captain Angus O'Brien saw a last-gasp conversion go agonisingly wide as the Men of Gwent battled out a dramatic draw with Benetton Rugby in the BKT United Rugby Championship at Rodney Parade.
Inisi drew things level with O'Brien's touchline conversion narrowly going wide in a thrilling end to an entertaining Round 12 clash.
Dragons lock Levi Douglas had scored an early try but was shown a 20-minute red card for a dangerous ruck clearout. Filo Tiatia's men also spent 10 minutes with 13 men with Inisi also shown a first-half yellow card.
Fiji wing Onisi Ratave had impressed for Benetton with two tries, while Italy full-back Matt Gallagher also crossed but fly-half Jacob Umaga missed all three conversions.
This was a third league draw for Dragons this season in 12 games - next up they face Vodacom Bulls at home in April.
