Lauren Price Guest Appearance

We are thrilled to announce that Wales’ first-ever female world boxing champion and local legend, Lauren Price MBE, will be our special guest for Friday’s crunch showdown with Newcastle Red Bulls in Europe. Lauren needs little introduction as an Olympic gold medallist and the current WBF, WBC, IBF and Ring Magazine Welterweight Champion of the World.

Dafydd James Book Launch

Offloading – Tackling My Truth is the powerful and deeply personal memoir of former Wales and Lions rugby international Dafydd James, who poignantly and courageously reveals the human cost of achieving success in an elite sport that demanded everything. Capped 48 times for Wales, and in all three Lions Tests on the 2001 tour of Australia, Dafydd enjoyed a highly distinguished 15-year playing career with three Welsh regions – Celtic Warriors, Scarlets and Cardiff Blues – and five first-class clubs – Bridgend, Pontypridd, Llanelli, Harlequins and Sale – during which he scored 129 tries and played in two Rugby World Cups.

At its heart, this is an emotional story told with striking honesty, in which Dafydd provides a fascinating insider’s view of professional rugby’s early years and his immense pride at playing for Wales, but also discloses how the heavy mental toll of chasing greatness resulted in perpetual self-doubt and deep psychological insecurities that changed his life.

Want to discover more and purchase his book? Dafydd will be in the KLA Marquee between 6.30pm and 7pm on match day.

Eco Dragons Support

We continue our Eco Dragons project for a third successive season this Friday evening - as we team up with our friends at Pledgeball and invite our incredible fans to join us in protecting the places we play and love. Our triple award-winning Eco campaign has made huge strides over the last few seasons as we look to improve our sustainability, carbon footprint and drive positive change.

To give the campaign momentum over the last two years, we teamed up with several partners including Pledgeball, to gave fans an online platform to visually take a stand on sustainability. Fans can then make a pledge to take actions, actions that together make a significant difference, and will save money at the same time.

Our EPCR Challenge Cup fixture at Rodney Parade with Newcastle Red Bulls this Friday is our latest designated ‘Eco game’ of the season. Click HERE for more information and to pledge.
