Dragons RFC are thrilled to announce that Wales’ first-ever female world boxing champion and local legend, Lauren Price MBE, will be our special guest for Friday’s crunch showdown with Newcastle Red Bulls in Europe.
Lauren needs little introduction as an Olympic gold medallist and the current WBF, WBC, IBF and Ring Magazine Welterweight Champion of the World.
Hailing from Newport and now based in Ystard Mynach, Lauren is currently undefeated in her professional career and holds an impressive record of 9-0 since her professional debut in June 2022.
She is the first woman to win the prestigious British Lonsdale Belt and become Wales’ first-ever female world boxing champion. In 2025, she made history once again, unifying the welterweight division and claiming the WBA, WBC, IBF, and IBO titles - cementing her status as an undisputed world champion.

Lauren Price will be appearing in the KLA Marquee between 6pm and 6.30pm to meet supporters with her championship belts.
