Newport Gwent Dragons confirm that Marc Stcherbina has joined the region on a one-year loan from Cardiff Blues for the 2008/09 season.
The 31 year old, Australian-born Centre began his senior career with the Super 12 outfit New South Wales Waratahs and represented Australia 7s and Australia A.
Marc moved to the UK in 2004 after a season with Biarritz Olympique and appeared in all 29 games for Northampton Saints before joining the Cardiff Blues in 2006.
The Dragons welcome the experience of Marc’s 31 Heineken Cup appearances at Biarritz (13), Northampton Saints (7) and Cardiff Blues (11) as they strive to be more competitive on the European stage throughout the coming season.
