Tonight’s game presents the unique challenge of being barely five days since our last outing. It’s been a sharp turn around and one in which the guys have attempted to optimise their recovery while as still covering the necessary details and preparations that we would for a normal weeks break between games.
Given the disappointment of our previous result, the quick turn around hasn’t allowed the lads time to drop their lips and dwell on ‘what ifs’ from the last game.
Tonight you can expect a Dragons team that is determined to learn from its mistakes, improve its performance and bounce back in what’s bound to be a typical local derby that will bring out the best in both teams.
Here’s hoping the weather comes to the party this time round and allows for a more expansive and entertaining spectacle with plenty of big Dragons collisions and action.
