Newport Gwent Dragons will be bringing another Welshman home with their signing of back row forward Hugo Ellis from London Wasps.
Ellis played for Wales Under 16 before crossing the river and representing England at Under 18, 19 and 20 level.
Now the young number 8 is returning to Wales with an eye on the Welsh jersey as well as a chance to turn out in Dragons colours.
“It’s a boost for the region to have a player of Hugo’s potential joining us at the Dragons,” said Dragons Rugby Manager Robert Beale.
“His arrival is in keeping with our desire to repatriate Welsh players to the region and continuing to build on our squad of young talented players.
“Hugo has impeccable age-grade qualifications and it is good news for both the region and the national side that he has chosen to pursue his senior rugby career in Wales.”
