The Dragons U16s face a tough trip to Blues South U16s tonight as they enter the second block of Regional games to determine which top two teams will play in the Regional U16s Final in January. After the first block of games the Dragons U16s defeated Blues South and the Ospreys at home, also beating RGC 1404 away while narrowly losing to Blues North and the Scarlets away. The Dragons will be targetting the Blues South tonight as a potential away win which will set them up for their three home games against RGC 1404, Blues North and the Scarlets.
Regional Performance Manager, Will Thomas commented 'we've had five week break from the Regional competition but the players have continued to train weekly alongside their club and school commitments. We played Gloucester U16s last Wednesday at Cheltenham, winning convincingly and we are hoping to take this form into Wednesday's match and into the next three home game.'
Tonight's game has been moved from Taffs Wells to Rumney RFC and will kick off at 7.15pm.
