Newport Gwent Dragons have completed another signing for the 2010 season with Commercial Manager John Reid who has joined Rodney Parade LTD.
John is from the region, having studied in Newport, as well as having played for the Black and Ambers, Cross Keys, Ebbw Vale and Crawshays.
In addition to his rugby background he has a wealth of sales experience spanning 14 years, including posts with Bristol Rugby Club and Hampshire Cricket Club.
Away from the sporting arena, John has extensive corporate experience with Newbridge Networks, Alcatel, Emhart Teknologies.
“Coming from the region I know the Dragons and Newport well and am keen to build on the success and development the region has seen both on and off the field in recent times,” said John
“I'm looking to taking on the challenge of implementing new strategies at Rodney Parade that will take this great club to an even higher level in stadium entertainment.”
