As regulars from within the region turned up from all parts of Gwent including Abertillery, Croesyceiliog, Abergavenny, Senghenydd, Caldicot and Newport but for this course we welcomed Joel Watts who had travelled the whole world to arrive at Rodney Parade from his home in Bahrain.
"This is he best rugby course in the world as far as he is concerned. He has really enjoyed his time here, " said a beaming dad.
So there you have it, a skill camp that is worth going miles for.
The last skill camp still has a couple of places available and will be run at Llanwern school from Wednesday 27th August - Friday 29th August. The camp is open to all 12-14 year old sports enthusiasts and you can grab your place by contacting Mike Sage on mike.sage@rodneyparadeltd.com.
