Newport Gwent Dragons Andrew Coombs has been given a three-week suspension by an independent board following last Friday night's game against the Ospreys.
The board agreed that whilst there was no malicious intent, the contact with an Ospreys player merited a mid range penalty. This was reduced to three weeks as a result of Andrew Coombs' previous good disciplinary record and his conduct during the hearing.
Coombs will return to play on Monday 6th October 2014.
