Benjamin and Rosser will link up with a squad which is full of confidence after claiming the Challenge Trophy in Canada. "The squad are focusing hard on recapturing the form they showed in Vancouver and Las Vegas," says head coach Gareth Williams, who believes consistency in selection has been a focal point this year.
"Our protocols and systems were pleasing in both tournaments, and this culminated in winning five of our six games in Vancouver and capturing our first piece of silverware this season."
Williams is confident his team can reach the same levels of performance over the next two legs of the tournament, with the team heading to Singapore the following weekend.
"We have been working on small details that can make us that bit more efficient. We are ambitious about demonstrating our progress and development through achieving results at the highest level."
Awaiting Wales in Pool C this weekend are Fiji, Japan and New Zealand. Click here for more information on Hong Kong Sevens.
