The notice has been accompanied by the general release of a comprehensive circular explaining the proposal, and a ‘Question and Answer’ sheet that provides detailed information regarding the central issues. Tony Brown, the principal benefactor, has also written an open letter to shareholders advocating the deal. The documents are available on the websites of both Newport RFC and the Dragons and are able to be downloaded. Shareholders can also receive hard copies upon request.
In addition, and as indicated at a previous meeting with Newport supporters, a further ‘interim’ open meeting has been arranged ahead of the General Meeting so that more discussion can take place following the release of the documents. This has been arranged for Monday 24th April at
