Simeon Greenaway-Robbins was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes around two years ago and initially lost his confidence in his rugby.
However, the full back is now thriving at the club and even organised his own 7s charity tournament in August to raise money for Diabetes UK.
Jason Lewis, Caerphilly Under-16s coach, said: “Simeon is really enjoying his rugby again and has scored four tries in four games.
“He plays with a smile on his face every single game and even organised his very own 7s tournament earlier this year to raise funds and awareness for Diabetes UK.”
