Dragons suffered a disappointing defeat to an impressive Glasgow Warriors at a cold and windy Scotstoun on Saturday night.
Tries from Ellis Shipp and Mesake Doge - plus four points from the boot of Sam Davies - were not enough for the visitors.
Glasgow managed scores from Sione Tuipulotu, Kyle Steyn, Jack Dempsey, Ali Price and Johnny Matthews, while fly half Ross Thompson scored eight points off the tee as the hosts claimed victory.
Dragons now head into Europe next with a trip to France to play Perpignan before welcoming Lyon to Rodney Parade.
The game started quickly with both sides trying to play fast and wide.
But it was the hosts who scored first with centre Sione Tuipulotu crashing over from close range, and Ross Thompson converted.
The Warriors scored their second try ten minutes later with Kyle Steyn claiming a cross field kick to score.
On the verge of half time the home side scored their third try with number eight and man of the match Jack Dempsey racing clear from 40m off the back of a scrum.
Dragons improved second half but it was the Warriors who scored a fourth through scrum half Ali Price who darted over from close range.
The visitors got on the board in the final quarter with hooker Ellis Shipp powering over to score.
Both teams shared a try each in the final ten minutes with two front row replacements crossing the whitewash.
First it was Glasgow hooker Johnny Matthews before Mesake Doge powered over for his third try of the season.
The game finished 33-14 for the Warriors and Dean Ryan’s men will head into Europe looking for a response.
