Dragons Rugby Extend Partnership with Ted Hopkins


Dragons Rugby are pleased to announce an extended deal with Ted Hopkins Limited, part of the Hopkins Machinery Group of companies.

The Newport based suppliers of Groundcare, Agricultural and plant Machinery, who are also a supplier to the WRU, have signed a new 3-year partnership.

The Hopkins logo will again feature on the front of the shorts on the Dragons first team playing kits. Ted Hopkins has also supplied the Rodney Parade Ground Staff with with Dennis G860 Mower’s, Dennis Pro-34R Mower’s, Verti-cutter cassette’s, Sorrel Roller cassette and a Toro Pro-Core.

The supply of such cutting-edge equipment enables the Rodney Parade Team to continue to maintain the stadiums new SIS Pitch to the highest standard.

Jonathan Westwood, Dragons Head of Commercial, said:

We are delighted that Chris has agreed to extend their investment to as a kit sponsor at the Dragons. It’s always a pleasure having Chris and the team onsite during match days, and we look forward to many more of these during the next few seasons ”

Dragons Rugby Managing Director, Mark Jones, added:

Evan Hopkins, Operations Manager at Ted Hopkins, said:

“We are pleased to be able to assist Mark and his colleagues at Rodney Parade with this new Kubota tractor which has been fitted with a front loader and bucket, also low ground pressure turf tyres and with new Dennis PRO 34R rotary mowers, these additional features make the equipment more universal during winter maintenance of the pitch and up keep of the communal areas at Rodney Parade.
