Dragons RFC lock Will Rowlands started the game as a late converted Josh Adams try helped Wales to a historic first win over the Springboks on South African soil as they triumphed 13-12 in Bloemfontein.
Adams’ try in the 78th minute hauled Wales to within a point of the world champions before replacement fly half Gareth Anscombe rifled over the touchline conversion from the sideline to seal the world champions’ fate.
The three-Test series will now be decided on Saturday (July 16) in Cape Town.
