Dragons RFC prop Aki Seiuli was a replacement as Manu Samoa overcame a half-time deficit to dispatch Tonga and register their second successive win in the Pacific Nations Cup.
A hat-trick from hooker Ray Niuia was crucial as Samoa fought back from being behind at the break at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
The 34-18 victory means Seilala Mapusua’s side now sit atop of the Pacific Nations Cup standings and victory in a mouth-watering clash with Fiji next weekend will secure the crown in Lautoka.
Congratulations Aki from us all at Dragons RFC.
