Dragons Wheelchair Rugby were thrilled to welcome Headline Partner HH Law to a recent training session at the Bowden Active Living Centre in Pontypool.
The law firm based in Newport became partners with the team ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
HH Law Digital Marketing Executive, Molly Hopkin, and Dragons Business Development Executive, Lisa Harrington, recently visited the team and joined in the session as the relationship continues to grow from strength to strength.
HH Law also delivered special gifts, including water bottles and equipment, as they continue their support of the team both on and off the field.
A spokesperson for Dragons Wheelchair Rugby said: “The team wants to give a huge thank you to our sponsors, Hennah Haywood Law, for the continual support this year with our endeavours on court.
“It’s been great to be able to have some of our sponsors try wheelchair rugby for themselves and we were thrilled to welcome HH Law and Dragons to have a go.
“We’ve been overjoyed by the support of our sponsors and look forward to another year of success, continuing to build strong relationships with our partners and supporters!”
Molly Hopkin, HH Law Digital Marketing Executive said: “Attending the training sessions was extremely inspiring. The team were more than happy for me to get stuck in and join them in their game - although I need many more training to be half as good as them!
“It was such an amazing experience to see the community they have built, supporting each other, and be part of such a positive atmosphere. They were so accommodating having me at the session and I cannot wait to go again!
She continued: “We’re proud to be part of the amazing community with Dragons Wheelchair Rugby.
“We originally started HH Foundation to support great causes and to change lives and hearing all the stories from the team about how Hennah Haywood’s support has positively impacted them as individuals is absolutely incredible and we feel privileged to be a part of the community.
“We are delighted to be able to enhance their sessions with new kit and equipment and hope to help spread the word of the brilliant things that they are doing at the club.”
