Young female rugby players from across Gwent are being invited to train with Dragons Women ahead of the upcoming Regional Age Grade season.
Launched in 2021, the Dragons Women’s programme sees the best U18 players in the region train at our Ystrad Mynach training base.
Building on our successful pre-season block in the summer, training sessions are now set to commence on Wednesday, November 30.
We will be running a four-week block in the lead up to Christmas as a skills development block before a competitive block takes place in January and February where the team has four fixtures against the other regions.
All the fixtures are part of the wider talent identification programme for international training and playing opportunities.
Any young rugby players within the region in Years 11, 12 or 13 who are yet to be invited and who are interested in participating can register now by emailing cerys.hale@dragonsrugby.wales
