Dragons RFC hooker James Benjamin grabbed a try on his debut for Hartpury University as they were edged out 28-21 by Bedford Blues at Goldington Road.
Benjamin has joined the English Championship club on a short-term loan deal - following in the footsteps of club team-mate Ellis Shipp who played for Hartpury earlier this season.
Front row Benjamin was a second half replacement for Hartpury and grabbed a try on his first appearance as they just came up short against an in-form Bedford team who have swept all before them on home soil this season.
