Head Coach Dai Flanagan admitted his Dragons had suffered a ‘massive missed opportunity’ as inaccuracy plagued a heavy defeat to Emirates Lions in Johannesburg.
The Men of Gwent succumbed to a 49-24 defeat at Emirates Airline Park as tries from Harri Keddie, Ashton Hewitt and Bradley Roberts proved in vain.
It was a difficult watch for Flanagan who acknowledged his team had both missed chances and caused their own downfall with inaccuracy.
He said: "We were just really inaccurate. It's frustrating because there were opportunities galore.
"We've just got to catch the ball, we've just got to make a tackle, we've got to work on that individually and collectively.
"It's a massive missed opportunity for us, purely through accuracy, both sides of the ball."
