It’s time to Party on the Parade! Dragons RFC face Connacht Rugby in the final BKT United Rugby Championship encounter at Rodney Parade this season on Saturday (kick-off 7.35pm)! Ahead of the game, we’ve compiled all the information you need to enjoy your time with us…
Supporter Information
Ticketing Information
Tickets for our fixture against Connacht Rugby can be purchased by clicking HERE or by calling the Ticket Office for more information on 01633 670690 during office hours. Tickets will be available on match day morning from the Ticket Office at Rodney Parade from 10am! Please note, to enjoy Early Bird prices you should buy in advance of match day.
Fan Zone
Rodney Parade will be hosting the Fan Zone from 4pm. The Fan Zone will host a big screen showing Bulls versus Lions, followed by Ospreys against Benetton (5.15pm kick-off).
In addition to the live sport, there will be various family friendly activities throughout the marquee, including a guest appearance from the Dragons Choir from 6pm.
Family Activities
From 4pm, a range of inflatables activities will be available across the Training Pitch (accessible from Fan Zone and Main Gate). These activities will be supplemented with a range of activities from the Dragons RFC Community team and the County In The Community team – ALL activities are FREE of Charge for all supporters.
In addition to the various match say activations in the marquee, Will Rowlands and Gonzalo Bertranou will be on hand from 6:30pm for a Q&A session for autographs and photos.
Shop Promotions
Check out some exciting offers in store on match day this Saturday - we open from 10am! In addition to some great new Dragons RFC merchandise, fans have the opportunity to meet Sio Tomkinson and Aneurin Owen from 6:45pm.
Food & Bar Promotions
In addition to the regular catering provisions that fans will be accustomed to, supporters have the additional option of the Chicken Shack (situated in the Fan Zone) and the Hog Roast Cart (situated within in the Marquee), where Pulled Pork Rolls served with Stuffing and Gravy can be purchased for £6.50.
Similarly, supporters can take advantage of the early promotion in the Marquee Bar – where supporters can purchase pints of Coors at a discounted rate of £3.50 up until kick-off.
Half Time Activities
The action continues at half-time as Blaenycwm Primary face Langstone Primary and Cantref Primary tackle Dewstow in the Phil James Memorial Cup and Shield finals respectively.
In addition to the action on the field, the Dragons Choir will also be performing pitch side for the last time this season for all supporters.
Cashless Stadium
Please note that all bars inside Rodney Parade are completely cashless. However, the stadium bars will accept all major debit and credit cards.
Stadium Smoking Policy
Rodney Parade is a smoke-free stadium and smoking, or the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted within the stands. Supporters may smoke and use electronic cigarettes within the designated smoking area – your nearest steward will be able to point you to the nearest smoking area. Supporters are not able to exit and re-enter the stadium for any reasons.

Travel Information
Travelling by Car
From the West: Please take Junction 26 from the M4 before taking the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto Malpas Road (A4041). Then proceed through the next 2 sets of traffic lights, keeping to the left-hand lane at the roundabout before taking the second exit off the roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the first exit (across the River Usk) before bearing right onto Chepstow Road. Once on Chepstow Road, take the first right onto Cedar Road followed by the next right onto Corporation Road and the first left onto Grafton Road. Rodney Parade is then situated on the left hand side.

Car Parking
Please note that unfortunately there is no car parking availability at Rodney Parade. For car parking please follow directions for the city centre once you have departed the Motorway. Car parks at both Friars Walk and Kingsway are a short walk across the Millennium River Bridge.
Travelling by Train
Newport Train Station is an approximate 10–15-minute walk to Rodney Parade. For Train timetables or any details regarding Transport for Wales please visit the Homepage | TfW.
In addition, Transport for Wales have recently launched a new facility to monitor train capacities. This function can be found on the TFW Capacity Checker | TfW.
Travelling by Bus
We recommend you use the JOURNEY PLANNER with Newport Bus. This allows supporters to use services to link elsewhere on the network onto services that operate close by to Rodney Parade.

Travelling by Supporter Coach
Newport Transport facilitate a Coach and Minibus Parking facility, at £35 and £15 respectively. They are situated on 160 Corporation Road, Newport, NP19 0WF; adject to Rodney Parade and therefore an ideal location for visiting supporters.
