A number of our inclusion teams will be in action at Rodney Parade this Wednesday evening as a showcase for a number of the leading provisions run by Dragons Community.
The Dragons Walking Rugby team and Dragons Allstars will both be playing on the stadium pitch at the home of Dragons RFC.
Taking place during Mental Health Awareness Week, we are delighted to be hosting the evening and are encouraging fans are to come and support the event.
Two games kick-off at 6.15pm as Dragons Walking Rugby face Risca RFC Walking Rugby team while Dragons Allstars play a mixed ability touch fixture with Risca Veterans.
We will then host a mixed ability fixture between Dragons Allstars and Llanelli Warriors that kicks off at 7.30pm.
The Bisley Stand will be open, and entry is £3 for adults and FREE for Under-16s. Entrance monies will cover costs and be donated to Dragons Allstars.
Food outlets outside Rodney’s Bar will also open from 5.30pm for supporters while the bar will also be open from this time.
Walking Rugby:
Our Walking Rugby provision – supported by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and sponsored by Centreprise International - is accessible to people of all ages and abilities. It is a non-contact, slower paced version of rugby where participants can compete and enjoy the sport.

Dragons Allstars:
The Dragons Allstars consists of both a male and female mixed ability rugby team. The provisions and teams were established to provide opportunities for disabled and non-disabled players to play contact or non-contact rugby together.
All abilities are welcome as training sessions and games are tailored and conditioned to suit everyone’s needs and abilities. You can train from 16 years old and play at 18.
