Players and backroom staff at Dragons RFC will be ditching the razors this month to support this year’s Movember initiative.
A variety of weird and wonderful Mos will be on show at Rodney Parade at Ystrad Mynach throughout November in support of Movember - the month-long moustache-growing event, when men are encouraged to sport upper lip hair to raise funds and awareness for men's health issues.
The men’s health charity is continuing to take on mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
The Dragons team - captained by fly half Will Reed - will now be supporting Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world by growing their own Mos! You can visit the club’s Movember page HERE
Every year 10,000 men die of prostate cancer - one an hour - and suicide is the biggest cause of death in men under 50. The Movember Foundation aims to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25 per cent by 2030. To discover more about Movember click HERE
