Signed up! Dragons RFC can confirm that talented young scrum half Morgan Lloyd has agreed new terms to remain with the club.
The 21-year-old, who has impressed in the Indigo Group Premiership throughout this season with Pontypool, will continue his journey with the Men of Gwent from the 2024/25 season onwards.
Lloyd has impressed in recent seasons for Wales Under-20s and also in the Welsh Premiership.
The Blackwood-born nine has scored 11 tries in 22 appearances for Pontypool – including nine tries this season to date.
Lloyd joins Harri Ackerman and Joe Westwood in agreeing a new terms at Dragons.
Head Coach Dai Flanagan said: “Morgan is a talented and driven young player who has really benefitted from a full season at Pontypool and who has really caught the eye with his performances.
“Because of injuries his game time has been limited in recent seasons, but now he is playing a season where he will be pushing 20 games he has really kicked on and shown his potential as a result.
“We’re looking forward to seeing how Morgan continues to develop by playing games and being a part of our senior environment.”
