So, what exactly is Pledgeball, and how does it work?
Pledgeball gives fans a platform to take a stand on sustainability. It is a movement that highlights the power that fans can have when they come together with a purpose. This works through Pledgeball events. In each Pledgeball event, fans pledge to reduce carbon emissions by choosing from a list of actions.
Getting involved is simple. Fans can make their pledges in the days leading up to the match. Whether committing to using reusable water bottles, opting for public transportation, or embracing meat-free meals, every pledge contributes towards a greener, more sustainable future.

The potential that Dragons fans have to create and drive change is significant:
● 1 Rodney Parades’ worth of fans committing to not more than 1 return flight per 3 years equates to taking over 2850 cars off the road.
● 1 Rodney Parade’s worth of fans switching to a green energy supplier equates to taking over 1070 cars off the road.
The impact we can have by making these choices not only reduces emissions but stretches beyond our actions through the influence it has on friends, family, and beyond.
