Dragons RFC begin the club’s bid for European Cup glory this season on home soil against French Top 14 giants Montpellier on Friday, December 6 (kick-off 8pm).
The dates for the pool stages of the EPCR Challenge Cup and broadcasters have today (Friday) been confirmed by tournament organisers EPCR. The 2024-25 season fixtures have once again been generated using the algorithm provided by EPCR’s fixture software supplier.
The opening game of the tournament for the Men of Gwent – who play in Pool 2 – will be at Rodney Parade against Montpellier and will be shown live on S4C.
Dai Flanagan’s men head to the north of England for Round 2 and Kingston Park to tackle Newcastle Falcons on Sunday, December 15 (kick-off 3.15pm). This game will be shown on epcrugby.tv.
Dragons are back home in Round 3 with a clash against Top 14 outfit Section Paloise on Sunday, January 12 (kick-off 3.15pm).
The final round of the pool stages will see Dragons travel to South Africa and Johannesburg to face the Emirates Lions on Saturday, January 18 (kick-off 5.15pm local time). This game will be shown on SuperSport.

Round 1: Friday, December 6 - Dragons RFC vs Montpellier – Rodney Parade – 8pm.
Round 2: Sunday, December 15 – Newcastle Falcons vs Dragons – Kingston Park– 3.15pm.
Round 3: Sunday, January 12 – Dragons RFC vs Section Paloise – Rodney Parade – 3.15pm.
