Scrum half Rhodri Williams has urged his team-mates to ‘embrace the challenge’ as Dragons RFC face Zebre Parma on home soil this evening (kick-off 7.35pm).
The Men of Gwent face a huge encounter under the lights in Newport as they look to climb off the foot of the BKT United Rugby Championship.
And an upbeat Williams is looking forward to the test and wants Dragons to go out and express themselves under pressure.
“It’s a big game. We have got to embrace the challenge and look forward to it,” he stated.
“We need to be confident, and we need to express ourselves.
“When there is pressure on, you can go into your shell, but we have to back our skills sets and enjoy being out there.
“The performance against Bulls last weekend gives us something to build on,” he added.
“We were far from happy with it, it is still another loss, and we are an ambitious squad and we want to win.
“There are times in that game when we can do a lot better. But on the flip side, the Bulls are a quality side and there are some very good moments in that game that we can take forward and into this week.”
