Your Match Day guide vs Bulls

We face the might of South Africa and the Vodacom Bulls in the BKT United Rugby Championship at Rodney Parade this Saturday (kick-off 7.35pm) – and ahead of the tie we have your match day guide to all that is happening in and around our home...

Ticketing Information

Tickets for our upcoming URC fixtures with Vodacom Bulls, Connacht Rugby, Zebre Parma and DHL Stormers and can be purchased by clicking HERE or by visiting the Ticket Office on match day from noon until kick-off.

KLA Community Fan Zone

Pre-match entertainment We open the KLA Community Fan Zone from 5pm, and we’ll have live sport to enjoy on the TVs from opening time. Supporters will then have the opportunity to see Dragons senior squad members with a Q&A in the marquee from 6:35pm.

Charity Match – National Autistic Society

As we celebrate the work of the National Autistic Society, we have several match day activations around the stadium with the work of the charity in mind. Our pre-match fireworks – by Pendragon – have been adapted for low level noise and the pre-match light show has also been changed. Please also look out for bucket collections around the stadium and please give generously. Thank you for your support.

Retail Promotions

In addition to the Dragons RFC Training Range 23/24, both the home, away, European replica kit and the new charity shirt will be available to purchase in the stadium store from 12noon.

Saving Energy Event Pre-Match

Newport City Council are hosting an exciting event at the Riverfront Theatre on the 23rd March all about saving energy. Pop into the Riverfront between 10am and 2pm on 23rd March to tackle a carbon catcher cyclone game, see heat pumps and solar panels up close, get a free bike health check from Momentwm, see a repair in action from Re:Make, learn about the carbon footprint of bananas and discover different energy alternatives and funding available from partners including NEST, Warm Wales and EGNI! Cashless Stadium

Please note that all Bars inside Rodney Parade are completely Cashless. However, the Stadium Bars will accept all major Debit and Credit Cards.

Stadium Smoking Policy

Rodney Parade is a smoke-free stadium and smoking, or the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted within the stands. Supporters may smoke and use electronic cigarettes within the designated smoking area – your nearest steward will be able to point you to the nearest smoking area. Supporters are not able to exit and re-enter the stadium for any reasons.

Travel Information

Travelling by Car from the West:

Please take Junction 26 from the M4 before taking the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto Malpas Road (A4041). Then proceed through the next 2 sets of traffic lights, keeping to the left-hand lane at the roundabout before taking the second exit off the roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the first exit (across the River Usk) before bearing right onto Chepstow Road. Once on Chepstow Road, take the first right onto Cedar Road followed by the next right onto Corporation Road and the first left onto Grafton Road. Rodney Parade is then situated on the left hand side.

Travelling by Car from the East:

Car Parking

Please note that unfortunately there is no car parking availability at Rodney Parade. For parking, please follow directions for the City Centre once you have departed the Motorway. Car parks at both Friars Walk and Kingsway are a short walk across the Millennium River Bridge.

Travelling by Bus

Season Members are reminded they qualify for FREE travel with Newport Transport on match days – just show your membership card. For more information on Newport Bus click HERE

Travelling by Train

Newport Train Station is an approximate 10–15-minute walk to Rodney Parade. For train timetables or any details regarding Transport for Wales please visit the Homepage | TfW. In addition, Transport for Wales have recently launched a new facility to monitor train capacities. This function can be found on the TFW Capacity Checker | TfW.

Travelling by Supporter Coach

Newport Transport facilitate a coach and minibus parking facility, at £35 and £15 respectively. They are situated on 160 Corporation Road, Newport, NP19 0WF; adject to Rodney Parade and therefore an ideal location for visiting supporters.
