Dragons RFC are pleased to be able to continue to show our support for our three Super Rygbi Cymru clubs – Newport RFC, Pontypool and Ebbw Vale – throughout the 2024/25 campaign.
Chief Executive Rhys Blumberg made it one of his priorities when appointed to meet officials from the three clubs to discuss working relationships and how we can continue to support the three clubs.
Several Dragons Academy and senior players have already been placed with clubs this season to boost relevant playing resources.
And following successful meetings with all three clubs, Rhys has spoken of his determination to continue to do everything possible to back the three Gwent clubs and help them achieve success, both on and off the field.
“When I was appointed into the role, I was keen to sit down with all three clubs to discuss our relationship and map out how we can work collaboratively moving forward,” he said.
“It’s been great to meet our colleagues at Newport, Pontypool and Ebbw Vale over the last few months and approach this with a fresh outlook and real positive intent.
“We are proud of our association with all three clubs and have agreed several initiatives moving forward to ensure we are more aligned.
“We’re excited about how we can now work alongside all three clubs as they bid to have successful seasons in Super Rygbi Cymru.”
