Shane Lewis-Hughes is set to make a first appearance for Dragons RFC and a host of Wales internationals return as the Men of Gwent finish pre-season with a friendly against Bath at The Rec on Friday evening (kick-off 7.15pm).
Lewis-Hughes comes into the back row as Head Coach Dai Flanagan brings in several senior players with the URC league kick-off now less than ten days away.
Wales internationals Rio Dyer, Matthew Screech and club captain Ben Carter all return to the starting line-up after summer tour exploits in Australia.
Full back Cai Evans and prop Leon Brown are also notable returnees as Dragons look to finalise selections against the English Premiership outfit.
Flanagan said: “We’re looking forward to our final pre-season test, and it should be a great challenge against a full-strength Bath side in front of a big crowd at The Rec.
“We’ve looked to get all the squad game time throughout pre-season and it’s fantastic that we welcome back several of our Welsh internationals for this fixture.
“It’s another big 80 minutes as we look to build momentum ahead of the league opener against Ospreys next weekend.”
