Join our award-winning Dragons Family by becoming a Community Ambassador! Below is a short statement from Ethan who joined the team here to gain valuable experience…
"As a youngster I attended Skills Camps at Dragons often, learning rugby skills from Mike and Janice. I can remember meeting past players such as Lee Byrne and Hallam Amos after the camps. I have been a Season Member since around 2013 – my dad and I have always loved coming down to Rodney Parade to watch the team play.
I started volunteering with Dragons Community, once a week, for a year on a work placement for my college course at Coleg Gwent in 2021/22.
After completing the work placement, I was offered part time work with the community team as a community coach. Through that I get the opportunity to pass on the knowledge that Mike and Janice had taught me when I was younger, to other young rugby players on those same camps as a coach.
This September, I’m going to USW to study rugby coaching and performance and feel volunteering at Dragons will help me take the next steps on my journey..."
