Rio Dyer, Ben Carter, Angus O’Brien and Aneurin Owen are just some of the Dragons RFC players who will be at our February half-term Rugby Skills Camps.
The camps – in association with Skills Camp partner Tata Steel and headline community partner Centreprise International and Sport Caerphilly - take place at the end of February at Rodney Parade.
On Monday, February 24 co-captain Angus O’Brien and hooker Oli Burrows will be there to help children hone their passing and catching skills.
Tuesday, February 25 sees Wales wing Rio Dyer, Dragons vice-captain Aneurin Owen and scrum-half Morgan Lloyd will be there to add evading, passing and tackling skill training.
The Tag Camp is for six to eight-year-olds and includes:
- Tagging
- Passing
- Evasion
- Catching
- Tag Games
The Contact Camp is for nine to 12-year-olds and includes:
- Advanced Skills
- Conditioning
- Contact Area
- Tackling • Passing
- Evasion
The Standard Package for both camps runs between 9.30am and 1.30pm and is £25. To book CLICK HERE

On Wednesday, February 26 co-captain and Wales international Ben Carter joined by hero from the win against Ospreys Luke Yendle to help run our Advanced Development Camp between 9.30am and 1.30pm for 13 to 16-year-olds.
The Advanced Development Camp includes:
- Advanced drills and technique
- A qualified PT instructor
- Fitness Training
- Advice from Dragons coaches
- Use of the Dragons RFC home changing rooms.
- Player Q&A.
