Centre Ethan Paterson and replacement Rhys Cole grabbed tries as Dragons Under-18s were defeated RGC 50-12 by Scarlets Under-18s at Ystrad Mynach in this the WRU Regional Age Grade Championships.
The result against the undefeated Scarlets leaves the future Dragons in fourth spot in the table – level with Cardiff who they meet next with an away fixture on Sunday, February 9.
The top four teams from the five-team division move into the semi-finals on Sunday, February 16.
