Dragons Wheelchair Rugby finished the Allied Mobility Wheelchair Rugby Fives (WR5s) season in second spot after a thrilling final round of action.
The team travelled last weekend to Kettering for the WR5s final round for more League One action.
The Allied Mobility WR5s competition is the fives discipline of wheelchair rugby and sees teams from around Great Britain compete across the Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two.
Dragons play in League One, the third tier, alongside RGC, West Country Hawks, Saracens, and Endeavour Punishers.
The team was tied on 22 points at the top of the table for the final round at Arena Sports-Kettering, with RGC leading the way on superior try difference.
In very hot conditions, the team won three out of four games – to finish the season with ten wins out of 12. Our congratulations to RGC who won the tournament and promotion.
