Dragons RFC new signings Fine Inisi and Fetuli Paea have today (Wednesday, July 2) been named in the Tonga squad ahead of the 2025 season.
Wing Inisi and centre Paea are scheduled to link-up with their country later this month ahead of the Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) 2025.
This year’s tournament will once again bring together six of the most dynamic and passionate rugby nations: Canada, Fiji, Japan, Samoa, Tonga, and the USA, battling it out for glory and direct qualification for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia, with defending PNC champions Fiji, set to defend their title with a home opener in Suva on 30 August.
Tonga face Samoa at Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku’alofa, Tonga on Saturday, August 23 before tackling Fiji a week later at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, Fiji.
Knockout games will then take place at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, Denver, Colorado on Sunday, September 14 before the finals at America First Field, in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Saturday, September 20.
