We’re back with EIGHT Camps this Summer! Dragons Community are encouraging future players to join them during an action-packed July and August - with a variety of Skills Camps taking place at Rodney Parade and on the road at Nantyglo RFC.
The camps are being held in association with Skills Camp partner Tata Steel and headline community partner Centreprise International and Sport Caerphilly.
On Monday, July 28, Monday August 11 and Monday, August 18 we will be holding our Tag/Contact Camps at Rodney Parade.
The Tag Camp is for Under 7 and Under 8 Pathway children and includes:
- Tagging
- Passing
- Evasion
- Catching
- Tag Games
The Contact Camp is for Under 9 and Under 11 Pathway players and includes:
- Advanced Skills
- Conditioning
- Contact Area
- Tackling
- Passing
- Evasion
The Standard Package for these camps runs between 9.30am and 1.30pm and is £25. To book CLICK HERE
The Platinum Package has an early drop off at 8am and late pick-up at 3pm, plus a stadium tour, and costs £45. To book CLICK HERE
Also on Tuesdays throughout July and August (July 29, August 5, 12 & 19) we are running Advanced Development Camps between 9.30am and 1.30pm for 12 to 15-year-olds at Rodney Parade.
The Advanced Development Camp includes:
- Advanced drills and technique
- A qualified PT instructor
- Fitness Training
- Advice from Dragons coaches
- Player Q&A.

Finally, on Monday, August 4 we are running a Tag/Contact Camp at Nantyglo RFC with the same components as the Tag/Contact camps at Rodney Parade.
