Our award-winning Dragons Community team held its annual celebration of inclusive rugby on Wednesday evening – as part of a busy week of action for the Evans Pharmaceuticals Cup Finals.
One of the highlights in the calendar of work at Rodney Parade, the day saw the Dragons Community team champion some of the community and inclusion provisions we run – all tied into the week-long celebration of Gwent rugby.
The morning saw the Healthy Dragons Primary Girls Festival, sponsored by KLA, take place on the stadium pitch as hundreds of youngsters enjoyed fun in the sunshine.

The final game of the day saw Dragons ALLSTARS play Swansea Gladiators in a male mixed ability fixture. Congratulations to all the teams and our Dragons ALLSTARS who won both the male and female fixtures.
A wonderful evening was generously supported by Nando’s in Friars Walk, Newport and Rollover who provided all the food for the teams and officials on the night.
