Wales U20s return to Rodney in March

07/10/2025

Wales Under-20s will return to Rodney Parade in 2026 as confirmation for all of Wales’ home fixtures across the Guinness Men’s, Women’s and U20s Six Nations was confirmed.

The next generation of talent in the Welsh game will be at home of the Men of Gwent to face Italy Under-20s on Sunday, March 15 (kick-off 1pm).

Wales U20s produced a defensive masterclass the last time they played in Newport in February as they claimed a gutsy 20-12 victory over Ireland U20s at Rodney Parade. This was a victory built on sheer guts and determination with Wales captain and current Dragons RFC ace Harry Beddall putting in a phenomenal 34 tackles.

Wales’s Guinness Men Six Nations home fixtures at Principality Stadium kick off with consecutive weekends against France on Sunday 15th February (15:10 KO) and Scotland on Saturday 21st February (16:40 KO) before they conclude their 2026 campaign against Italy on Saturday 14th March (16:40 KO).

Wales will kick start their 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations campaign with a much-anticipated return to Principality Stadium on April 11th (16:40 KO) for their first-round fixture against Scotland.

This will be followed by their home ties against France on 18th April (15:35 KO) and campaign conclusion against Italy on 17th May (12:15 KO) at Cardiff Arms Park.

Tickets for all three home matches are now on sale with France and Italy also available as a brand new double pack ticket covering both Cardiff Arms Park fixtures.

This campaign marks another significant step on the incredible journey of growth for the women’s game in Wales. The return to Principality Stadium follows two landmark years, which saw over 11,000 fans attend the 2024 Italy match before a phenomenal 21,186 supporters set a new attendance record for a women’s international sporting event in Wales for the 2025 England game.

The Scotland fixture will build on this unprecedented support and create another festival of women’s rugby, celebrating the passion of the fans and the progress of the sport with more details to be announced in due course.

Wales U20s will also kick off their 2026 Guinness Six Nations fixtures off the back of record crowds at this year’s campaign. Next year’s U20 Six Nations will mirror the Guinness Men’s Six Nations set of fixtures, with the U20 Championship taking place on the same weekends as the senior men’s competition. Wales will take on France on 14th February (20:00 KO) and Scotland the following week on 20th February (19:15 KO) at Cardiff Arms Park and finish their campaign at Rodney Parade in Newport against Italy on 15th March (13:00 KO).
