Keddie captains Dragons at Hartpury

Harrison Keddie captains Dragons RFC as the Men of Gwent launch pre-season with a friendly against Hartpury University at the 4ED Hartpury Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 2.30pm).

Head Coach Filo Tiatia selects a new-look Dragons side that blends exciting young talent with experience and new recruits for the fixture in Gloucestershire with The Champ outfit.

Keddie leads a 31-man squad and operates in a back row alongside Ryan Woodman and Owen Conquer.

Levi Douglas gets a first outing alongside Steve Cummins in the second row while new signing Dillon Lewis operates up front with James Benjamin and Rhodri Jones.

New fly half Jac Lloyd plays alongside Morgan Lloyd at half back while Harri Ackerman and the returning David Richards take the midfield slots.

An exciting back three sees Dragons Academy ace Rhys Cole and Ewan Rosser play out wide, with Huw Anderson in the full back jersey.

Rob Hunt, Thomas Young, Mackenzie Martin, Niall Armstrong, Tinus de Beer are all set for debuts from the bench.
