Fixtures confirmed! Dragons RFC can look forward to October derby dates with Scarlets and Ospreys in Newport as part of the new BKT United Rugby Championship fixtures that were released today!
The dates and kick-off times for all 18 rounds of the new league season have been announced.
And the Men of Gwent can look forward to a blockbuster October in Newport with three huge games – including two Welsh derby dates.
Dragons kick-off the new league season in Treviso against Benetton Rugby at Stadio Monigo on Friday, September 25 (kick-off 7.45pm).
After the Italian opener, Filo Tiatia’s men face a mouth-watering October which begins with the visit of Scarlets for the home opener at Rodney Parade on Saturday, October 3 (kick-off 3pm).
Six days later the Men of Gwent welcome Ospreys to Rodney Parade on Friday, October 9 (kick-off 7.45pm) before a return clash the following weekend in St Helens, Swansea (Saturday, October 24).
A big opening month finishes on home soil with the visit of Zebre Parma on Saturday, October 31 (kick-off 5.30pm).
There is confirmation of a massive double header with Cardiff Rugby in December. We visit Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday, December 19 (kick-off 3pm) before we welcome our local rivals to our home for the big Boxing Day bash (kick-off 3pm).
We launch 2027 with an away clash at Scarlets on Saturday, January 2 (kick-off 3pm). Supporters can look forward to the visit of Irish duo Munster and Ulster to Rodney Parade in January and February while Glasgow Warriors are our opposition in Newport in April.
We have a mouth-watering South African double header in May to finish the home league season as Fidelity SecureDrive Lions arrive on Friday, May 7 (kick-off 7.45pm) before DHL Stormers are our visitors on the final day of the campaign on Saturday, May 15 (kick-off 5.30pm).
