Dragons name team for Hong Kong clash
Dragons kick-off the first part of a double-header of international friendly fixtures on the regional road – they also face Russia in November – with the clash at Eugene Cross Park.
Wales Under-20 ace Edwards missed the second half of the Celtic Cup campaign with injury, but he returns to partner Tom Hoppe against Rugby World Cup 2019 hopefuls Hong Kong.
George Gasson and Joe Goodchild, this weekend named in the Wales training squad for the 2018/19 World Rugby Sevens Series, will provide the firepower out wide while Evan Lloyd starts at fly half.
Lennon Greggains, who led the team during the Celtic Cup, will captain the team and join forces with James Benjamin and Ben Fry in the back row.
Lock Rynard Landman is partnered with James Thomas in the second row.
Jack Dixon, who made a first team return against Ulster Rugby on Friday, continues his comeback from the bench where he is joined by Ryan Bevington and Joe Davies who also featured at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.
Tickets will be available on the night at Eugene Cross Park. Season Members gain FREE entry to the fixture by showing their card. Adult tickets on the night will be £5. Children under 16-years-old also gain FREE entry.
