Coleg Gwent continued their impressive start to the season on Wednesday recording a victory against a competitive Bridgend College 25 - 20. Tries from Lewis Hudd, Dom Franchi and Ethan Davies with Niall Martin converting two of the tries. Stubborn defence in the second half held out the away team who were only able to convert 5 penalties.
The previous week the Coleg were successful on the road beating Pembroke College 52 -3.
That's three games unbeaten now for the Coleg who are hoping to go one step further than last year and win the Colleges title.
Paul Young coach of Coleg stated " Its been a good start but there are still lots of games to go and the next one is a massive test against Coleg Sir Gar who beat us in last years final."
