Gareth Baber (2003-2007) 75 appearances
Cardiff-born Baber impressed as a Blue for Oxford University and in Pontypridd’s famous European Shield win over London Irish before moving to Rodney Parade in 2003. He secured the nine shirt for the next four seasons. Baber is now the coach of the Fiji Sevens team.
Wayne Evans (2007-2014) 157 appearances
Scrum half Evans clocked up over 150 games for Dragons before moving to Coventry. He gained international honours with Wales Under 18s, 21s and Sevens (Dubai, George, Commonwealth Games, Hong Kong, Adelaide, London and Murrayfield).
Jonathan Evans (2009-2015) 83 appearances
Evans made his professional debut for Dragons in a Guinness PRO12 match against the Ospreys on the 7 May 2010 - he was at the time the youngest Dragons player ever at 17. He later joined Scarlets and earned international recognition for Wales Under-20s.
Sarel Pretorius (2015-2018) 72 appearances
South Africa Pretorius was incredibly popular during his time at Dragons, joining after spells with Falcons, Griquas, Cheetahs and the Waratahs. Pretorius, who played for the Emerging Sprngboks, later joined the Southern Kings.
Rhodri Williams (2018-present) 41 appearances
Wales international scrum half Williams moved to Dragons in the summer of 2018 from Bristol Bears. Born in Swansea, Williams started his rugby career with Llandovery before winning selection for Scarlets where he would play between 2011 and 2016. Williams made his full senior Wales debut against Tonga on November 2013.
Gareth Cooper (2004-2007) 45 appearances
Legendary nine Cooper, who made 46 appearances for Wales between 2001 and 2009, arrived at Rodney Parade in 2004 after featuring for the Celtic Warriors. He later moved to Gloucester Rugby and played in the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
