Dragons have secured the future of playmaker Josh Lewis after the fly half signed a new deal with the region.
Lewis, who has made 22 appearances and scored 128 points for Dragons since joining from Bath Rugby in 2018, has today put pen to paper on a contract extension.
The 27-year-old, currently recovering from a knee injury, joins Rhodri Williams and Ollie Griffiths in agreeing new terms to remain at Rodney Parade.
Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby, said: “Josh is determined to come back stronger from injury and I’ve been impressed by his attitude and commitment to his rehabilitation.
“I’m looking forward to seeing him back in action and contributing to what we are looking to achieve over the coming years.”
Lewis played for Scarlets between 2013 and 2016, having previously featured for Aberavon, Ebbw Vale and Llanelli in the Welsh Premiership.
The Merthyr Tydfil-born back made his Dragons debut against Benetton Rugby in September 2018, touching down for his first try later that month against Isuzu Southern Kings.
Lewis also scored tries against Cardiff Blues and in the thrilling Judgement Day victory over Scarlets.

“It’s been a frustrating time with my injury, particularly after finishing last season on such a high with the Judgement Day win at Principality Stadium, so I’m looking forward to making my return.
“To secure my long-term future at Dragons is a big boost for me and my family and my focus remains on making a successful comeback.
“It’s been a great season for the boys and I’m gutted to not have played any part in it, but I can’t wait to start to work with Dean Ryan and the other coaches and contribute once again. The region has given me great support and I'm determined to repay that faith."
