Dragons are delighted to announced that long-term supporter GP Shipping has extended its partnership with the region.
Our renewed partnership, which includes sponsorship on the playing kit alongside match day hospitality, sees GP Shipping extend terms until at least the 2022/2023 season.
GP Shipping - part of The Graypen Group - is also backing the most exciting young talent at the region with official player sponsorship of Dragons Academy products Rio Dyer, Lennon Greggains and Josh Reynolds.
Simon Coghlan, Group Managing Director, said: “Graypen is a family and shipping is our passion; we work hard and look out for one another.
“Our association with Dragons goes back a number of years now and we see many similarities. Just like ourselves Dragons is a family, but rugby is their passion and it is exciting to see their brand of rugby develop whilst nurturing young talent from all over Gwent.
“It has been very positive to see all the changes made, both on and off the field. Dragons are definitely on the up and we want to be part of it.
“Together with first class hospitality and, when possible, a great match day experience, Dragons Rugby is the obvious and only choice for us.
“In times of hardship families look after one another and that is why in this exceptionally difficult year we had no doubt about renewing our partnership arrangement.”
Jonathan Westwood, Head of Commercial at Dragons said: “We’re all absolutely delighted that GP Shipping has renewed and extended its partnership with us.
“GP Shipping is an outstanding key partner of the Dragons and Simon and all his dedicated staff share the same family values that are central to all we do.
“We’re all excited about building our relationship together for many seasons to come and welcoming all the team at GP Shipping back to Rodney Parade on match days very soon.”
